Welcome to Big Dog Fellas, where we excel as Yorkshire’s finest dog communicator and owner educator, boasting multiple-award wins. Mudge has over 20 years of experience working with all types of dogs and all types of issues.

It all started at the tender age of 10 years old. Growing up in Yorkshire, Mudge bought home a Rough Collie stray dog. This enabled him to gain an initial insight into the mind of a dog- providing food and shelter needed and then started teaching him tricks. He didn't really know much about traditional dog training. What he realised was if the dog paid attention and was willing to learn, he could use, food, toys, play and petting to his advantage, but very quickly figuring out that it also had its limitations.

Through this special relationship, a life changing experience was formed. This bought about love and compassion for dogs, which has never left.

Using a balanced approach with realistic and proven results, Mudge has changed the lives of many dog owners over the years, with a real focus on, but not limited to the following:

We offer a very exclusive board and train programme and offer private sessions for those that don’t require boarding.
